The premise of Chanel Les Beiges is to provide a light bronzing effect with no shimmer, and I have to say, being a bronzer-phobe for the glitter-face reason, it is really effective.

It comes with its own integral brush.

I have Shade 30 here, and it’s not show up quite as brown as it actually is, but it is pretty near perfect for my medium tone. I love the fact that it just gives your face a very lightly tanned look – I’ll use the word sun-kissed, because it’s appropriate here – and rather than a healthy glow as such, it’s more just a look of wellness. As someone who not only doesn’t ever use a bronzer, but is also completely powder shy (too drying), this is something of a revelation and I will definitely use it. The powder formula is literally weightless and quite creamy, although I think the brush is too flimsy for the purpose and I used a different one.
This launches next week and I’d highly recommend it.

I have never thought powder might be causing the dry patches I get from time to time. Must investigate.

I have wanted to buy something from Chanel for a while but all they face products are to light for my skin tone, I wish they would give more clour range in some of the stuff xxx
Adore the look of this… always on the lookout for a pale, matte bronzer. Do you have a price for it yet? Looks like it would be good for contour or as a subtle blush with a smokey eye too. Love the packaging!

Nice to see Chanel back on the blog
I bought this on the weekend and am in love! I have the lightest shade so its not really bronzing, but over Laura Mercier TM its gorgeous, and makes a lovely base on its own too.
