Caudalie Premier Cru La Creme: Reader Review

This is the cream that I’m hearing the most about at the moment, and it’s getting rave reviews everywhere. At £89, its not cheap, but with a formula based on grape polyphenols, it seems to be giving phenomenal results. Reader Lynne has tested this for three weeks.

“I am a great fan of grapes preferably served chilled at the end of the day, but I was a bit sceptical about this little fruits anti ageing benefits when I was given Caudalie Premier Cru to try because for the past 10 years I’ve treated my skin with the finest cosmeceutical ingredients that you need a degree in bio chemistry to understand! Apparently Premier Cru contains an exclusive combination of the rarest most precious and most effective natural ingredients for global anti ageing action. To be honest I don’t really care what it contains because after a week of using this day and night I had so many compliments about how great my skin looked (“movie star” skin was one description) that I went out and bought the Radiance Serum Complexion Correcting to compliment my new found skin miracle! Go grapes!! “

Am rather wishing I’d kept it to test myself!

I’ve always like Caudalie as a brand. It’s simple, reliable and it’s always been on the affordable scale of things. £89 sounds like a lot for a little Caudelie cream but the “movie star skin” has sold it for me!

I used Caudalie before, actualy louds of products from them. The scrub is one of my fav ever, I have sensitive skin and that one don’t irritates me.
I was a huge fan, can’t wait to try that one…

I used the products, not religiously, because I’m not that loyal and often use babywipes (sensitive) to get my face clean. But I have used the serum and premier cru, as well as the face mists (the herbal oil one and grape water one) and hand cream and body lotion. And the facewash. I don’t know the names of all the products off the top of my head. They are all good. All. The only products I didn’t like were the ones the rep used on me in the shop: the scrub and the mask. The scrub irritated my skin and the mask made me break out in the biggest pimples I’ve had since I was an adolescent. I’m 40. The rep was idiotic, I have to say. But the products were good, so I bought them anyway. No credit to the rep, in fact, despite the rep. I like the product but I hate the pricetag.
