[purchase/unpaid/affiliate/ad] I’ve definitely had my eyes opened somewhat by Catrice – I’ve got two tinted lip care products coming up today – one is £3.93, the other is £32. I’m starting with the £3.93 version.

Catrice Melt & Shine Lip Care Review

Last year saw the pick up of a very melty lip colour formula – beautiful, soft and gleaming but really just on the tipping point of what’s possible before solid becomes liquid. Think Hourglass Phantom Glosses at £36 each…although L’Oreal never picked up on it across any of their brands (to my knowledge) and that’s always interesting because they’re kind of a bell weather for trends. Catrice Melt & Shine Lip Care is that same, only just solid, melting formula that forms a coloured sheen over the lips.

Catrice Melt & Shine Lip Care Review

The shade I have is Resting Beach Face (I love it!) but while it feels quite moisturising, there’s nothing much in it that will add any hydration or conditioning to the lips. It’s colour and texture only on this. I am not complaining at all – sometimes it’s all you need especially if an affordable treat brings a smile to your face. I bought mine HERE. There are 7 shades in all, so you might grab a couple while you’re there 🙂
