[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] In normal circumstances, I’m a big fan of an eye crayon, with By Terry Ombre Blackstar being amongst my favourites, although bareMinerals, The Body Shop and Bobbi are also prominent in my crayon pot. But I’ve hardly been wearing eye make up at all so they’ve all lain pretty much unused over the past three months.

This shade is a nice transition back to covered lids – it’s a pale gold shade with a hint of pink and I preferred it applied and then blended rather than just colouring in the lid. There’s a lot of light in this – tiny, tiny twinkles in a metallic creme – that really open up the eye area and give brightness. The only thing I’d wear with it is a bit of mascara. When I applied the crayon, I felt that the finish didn’t look even, but on closer inspection it was but because the way light hits and the reflectiveness, I found it was better after blending which is why I suggest that’s the better way to wear it.

I found the last to be quite good but you can only expect so much from an oil based product on the lids. If you have very oily lids, you’ll definitely need a primer first. The formula has a skin care element to it, which probably accounts for its softness – once on the lids, you don’t feel a thing! Lovely. It’s £29 HERE, non affiliate HERE.
