Bronnley Lemon & Neroli Handwash

Sometimes, it’s just all about the simple things. A while back, I wrote about the classic Bronnley lemon soaps that my grandma took such pride in producing for her guests along with a lovely, fluffy hand towel in the loo. Well, the Bronnley Lemon & Neroli Handwash is as near to a liquid version of the lemon soap as you can get. It’s got all that same nostaliga with a tiny kick of neroli and gives your hands a wonderful, zesty scent. Personally, I’m not sure why neroli needed to be added at all because that lemon scent has so many memories for those of us at a certain age – why mess with it?

I’ve run out of Jo Loves Pomelo (again) but I have to say that I’m really enjoying using this. I keep it in the kitchen, and every single time I get that lemon blast, I think of my grandma, which is actually completely lovely. I don’t think I will ever undo that olfactory connection between me and her and I feel thankful to have it.

Actually, I’ve just noticed they’ve made the soaps Lemon & Neroli as well and I’m pretty certain they were purely lemon before. It’s £10 HERE.

Wow super summery suds alert, I may treat myself. The mention of these soaps reminds me a bit of those Body Shop mini fruity shape ones from way back xx

I have the plain lemon Bronnley soaps and a box of the lime ones too.
Lovely soaps are a must in our house.
