It’s interesting that this new style bottle for mascara is becoming a ‘thing’. If you saw my post about the new Lancome mascara, it’s also in a perspex type bottle (more decorative than this one, but then, it’s a premium brand) so clearly there have been some packaging developments and we are bound to see more. But, this is Bourjois Push Up Volume Glamour Mascara – and some fascinating claims on the brush.
As you’ll guess from the name Bourjois Push Up Volume Glamour Mascara is all about the wide-eyed lash look with a volume boost. The bit about the brush is that it has 15 ‘reservoirs’ distributed between the bristles so you get the maximum amount of product onto your lashes from root to tip.
There’s also a move away from ‘fat’ lashes – so, volume without the bulk and you should, in theory, be able to get an uplifted, spiky look from this mascara which also claims to last 16 hours.
Bourjois Push Up Volume Glamour Mascara launches in September. It’s days like this that I wish my lash extensions away!
