I’m such a fan of Bourjois foundations as it is.. Healthy Mix was one of my most loved bases, ever! So, I’m really pleased to see some new base action from Bourjois for October this year. There are two new serum primers, a foundation and a concealer.
So, the news on the products. Bourjois Happy Light Foundation (third dot along) is formulated to give good glow with luminosity and radiance. I’ve tried it in the shade I was sent (Beige Clair) and sure enough, it lives up to expectations. The formula is beautifully light on the skin so you can’t really feel that you’re wearing it, but gives excellent coverage (erring to medium I’d say) and a glow. Enough said. If you loved Healthy Mix, you’ll love Happy Light Foundation (£11.99). It comes in nine shades with three for darker skin tones.
The Serum Primers I’m not quite so hooked on. I’m not really a primer person to be honest – of the two, Happy Light Matte Serum Primer (dot one) and Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer (dot two), the Luminous (both are £10.99) would be my choice – who doesn’t need more light on the skin?! I think I need more time with these so I won’t give a full review now, but can say that, again, it’s the lightness that is notable.. very comfortable on the skin.

Finally, Happy Light Concealer (£8.99) in 3 shades, that can also be used as an eyelid primer. I’m sold on the packaging already with a little mirror in the pot although I know that some won’t like it for the constant finger dipping.
