Bourjois Color Band Eyeshadows

Colorband

You know those days where you just need to smack on some colour and go? Bourjois Color Band Eyeshadow is made for days like these. Six shades of creamy waterproof colour in a stick version – but somehow soft as butter and a doddle to apply.

The shades – even the paler ones – are quite powerful; there’s plenty of pigment so results are strong and true. When I tested these, though, they ‘set’ quite quickly, so if you’re planning on doing any blending or smudging, do it fast. Once on the lid, they’re stayers and better still, don’t exacerbate lid creases. I don’t have especially oily lids – I can attest to the last being good for several hours, but they haven’t really had a true oil test.

At £5.99 each, I think it’s money very well spent for fast beauty. Bourjois Color Band Eyeshadow launches at the end of January 2015.

NB: Am going to slightly amend my opinion re last – while the grey shade lasted really well on my lids, inexplicably the bronze shade didn’t when I wore it today! Primer up to be on the safe side.

Kicking mself a bit now, I recently ordered some Rimmel Scandaleyes crayons on sale from ASOS only to find that they’re impossible to sharpen (huge and plastic, grrr) so I wish I’d known about these first!
