Bourjois have managed to make a variation on a theme playful and pretty rather than gimmicky. The colour-changing Blush Exclusif isn’t a new idea – it goes on a very powdery, baby pink and warms to a vibrant, wearable tone – but the end result is very sweet and pretty.
There is also a gorgeous Smoky Eye Trio in Vintage Rose in pearly nude-pinks that I cannot wait to get my hands on.

And of course, the beautiful Java Powder (even I like it, and I don’t like powder!) that gives skin a smooth, finished look is available now at Selfridges or launching nationwide with the rest of this fresh, pink look in September.
The original Java was intended to whiten the skin when it launched in 1879; now though, its reinvention takes into account that we want a healthy, more rounded finish to our skin.
