Bourjois Hands & Feet

Just a quick reminder that Bourjois 1 Seconde Magical Nail Polish Remover for Hands & Feet has launched (link in side-bar) – soon it will be in all the usual stores but for now, early birds can get it at BeautyMart.

When I first posted about this, mostly everyone thought it’s a brilliant idea – the lid has a sponge inside it so you can dab your toes with the remover. Someone did say though, and they have a point, that it’s not any easier to remove toe polish with because you still have to bend down to your toes. True! But, while I don’t think we’ll ever see the day when there’s a pot you can dip individual toes into (I can’t even think that all the way through – imagine the faff!) Bourjois 1 Seconde Magical Nail Polish Remover for Hands & Feet is as close as you’ll ever get to the dip, twist and remove method for your feet. The sponge is nice and springy – I think it’s wise to put a towel under your feet before you start sponging off your polish in case you have been a little too generous with the shake and subsequent sponge absorption of the remover.

I did go over my toes with a remover soaked cotton wool pad afterwards just to get all the residue away, but I think that’s probably only necessary if you’re wearing a very high pigment colour (I was wearing red), and it is a more user-friendly way to remove toe polish compared to rubbing away with a cotton wool ball. But, yes, you do still have to be able to reach your toes 😉

Bourjois 1 Seconde Magical Nail Polish Remover for Hands & Feet is £6.
