Boots have got really good at foundation formulas, so this spot-treating base is probably worth £4.99 of anybody’s money. It contains salicylic acid to treat blemishes and promises clearer skin in four weeks. I haven’t read any reviews – it’s really new and there’s a wait-list on the Boots site – but if this works as I hope then it’s pretty revolutionary for spot-prone skin.

lovely lovely to be able to read more about this.
Boots posted a youtube video about this and I was dying to know more.
I had great hopes for this and thought ‘yay, a high street brand doing a full coverage foundation’ but I didn’t realise it was formulated for acne prone skin, with salicylic acid in it, and therefore not really suited for dry and very skin types. The name of the foundation should have given me a clue really, but I was hoping ‘on the spot’ meant ‘on the go.
Boo, looks like I will still be forking £26 (estee lauder camouflage foundation) for my foundation for a while longer.

I’m currently trialling this foundation for SEVENTEEn and am so far loving it!! I’ve only been using it for 5 days so can’t comment on results yet though, but it looks great on my skin!
Aah this sounds good & nice spot treatments are SO expensive these days: what a nice alternative. xxx
I saw this on Boot’s youtube channel and immediately decided I wanted it! For £4.99 it’s such a bargain too! x

Very excited to have a look at this when it is available in store. Just hope they have a match for my Indian skin tone as I noticed on the Boots website there are only 6 shades available! x
