Whatever issues I might have with the Bobbi Brown brand in terms of messaging, Bobbi gloss is my absolute favourite and has been for years. I remember going to NYC and leaving a beautiful little Lulu Guinness handbag in the loo at Heathrow – by the time I realised, it had been pinched and I was more upset at losing the six Bobbi glosses inside than I was about the bag. I cannot even remember what the bag looked like but I can remember the glosses! It was back when nude gloss was a new thing and Bobbi was one of the first brands on it for the UK.

It’s funny because I got the same rush of excitement when I opened these this morning as I did my first ever Bobbi gloss! There are four new, limited edition shades – three nudes and one clear with golden multi-shimmer.

First in the swatch is Twilight Shimmer; coffee with a mild twinkle, then Naked, which is a caramel toffee shade, Telluride, which is more of a dark rose nude and finally Naked. Aside from Naked, just yum to all of these easy-wear, lip smoothing, light reflecting, gorgeous beauties! The Bobbi Brown Sunset Pink Tube Tints (£17.50) are launching in July so keep an eye out for a chuck-in-your-beach-bag, any age, perfect gloss.
If you haven’t tried a Bobbi gloss, I’d recommend Pink Sugar (one of my first) as a starting place – it’s a whisper of translucent pink with a dot of shimmer that you can use alone or over a lipstick. It’s perfectly summery and I’ve seen women of every age wear this and it’s beautifully flattering. It’s HERE.
