I’ve seen a couple of reviews of these glosses, which launch in May, saying they don’t have a lot of colour to them. And, it’s true, they are quite sheer. I’ve done three levels of swatches here and above is a full whack of gloss from each tube at a level you wouldn’t actually be able to wear because it would slide off your lips!

So, these are the shades at a wearable level, although they wouldn’t stay very long at this consistency on the lip I don’t think. What I really love about these shades though is that they all have a very milky quality to them.

And here they are at the most likely wearable point. Just a quick slick of gloss and this is the colour intensity that you get, without having built the colour at all. Obviously with lip pigment being darker than skin pigment, you get this against your lip shade which dilutes the intensity still further, so really, what you are looking at is a flattering, milky wash. To my surprise, I can wear the mauvish shade of Kiss You (second in the line-up) and it looks gorgeous, whereas I would never, ever wear it as a lipstick.
