Benefit Majorette Blush

It’s a September launch for Benefit Majorette Blush – if you love Benefit, you’ll love this creamy cheek pep.

Majorette is the kind of peachy pink that really brings your skin tone to life – actually, this is very blendable and smooth so it’s good for almost any tone, including the lightest, but go with a gentle touch initially. It’s far easier to add more than to take away. Benefit Majorette Blush isn’t powdery, but nor is it that kind of slick, loose creme blush – it’s somewhere inbetween and I’m calling it a dry cream.

My one issue (apart from the fact that a majorette isn’t everyone’s idea of glam) is that it’s kind of over packaged. It feels like a weighty, chunky thing and not great if space is limited. The packaging is a majorette drum so it’s very cute and very stylised, but a space invader! Actually, it has a fragrance – peach and pomegranate (smells like bubblegum to me though) which I didn’t even notice when I put it on. It’s impossible to smell your own cheeks (unless you know something I don’t!) so I don’t know if it lasts all day or not.

Benefit Majorette Blush is £23.50.

  1. Do agree that Benefit have a tendency to overpackage… even if it is pretty! Really looking forward to this release though, it’s exactly my kind of product.

It looks cute but not sure I’d pay £23.50 for a cream blush!

  3. It does look pretty but the packaging does look pretty clumpy! xxx Thou Shalt Not Covet

  4. This looks just right up my alley. Love peachy pink shades and the packaging is too cute.

I agree, benefit do tend to over package their products. Not great for popping into your makeup bag. Great shade though,

  6. I love the look of this. The packaging is so adorable, and it’s just my shade. Not sure I’d pay £23.50 for it though…

  7. All Benefit products look so pretty and eve catching, but sometimes it feels like I’m paying extra for that packaging. If they kept it a little simpler and toned down, the prices could also be reduced I think. The same isn’t for all of their products, but a few (such as the powder shadows) they just don’t need so much packaging! Am I the only one who thinks this?
