Benefit Dream Screen

Wow – the claim on Benefit Dream Screen is that ‘you can’t see it, you can’t feel it, but it’s got you totally covered’. True on all counts. It’s easily the most light-feeling broad spectrum SPF I’ve ever come across in a somewhat miraculous formulation. Benefit Dream Screen feels like a serum and makes your skin feel softer, too, and better yet, it’s oil-free. Formulators everywhere are going to be green with envy!

I don’t usually do these formula shots, but I think it’s worth using this picture because it shows just how fluid it is – with most sunscreens, the product would stay in a firm line and this one doesn’t because it’s so thin.

Benefit Dream Screen is a matte formula, even though it’s so silky, so it’s going to be great for those for whom shine is an issue. Oh – and it’s fragrance free. I’m obsessed with this stuff already because it’s the first (that I know of) to market – a sun screen that feels like skin care, doesn’t add shine and makes your skin actually feel and look better. *amazed face*. You’ll be able to find it from June for £25.

  2. I was really surprised by how amazing Benefits skin care line is, they have some fantastic products and this look like it’ll be another hit for them! I will be picking one of these up for Summer! I have oily skin so sunscreens always make my skin look super extra shiny – so annoying! Can’t wait to try this out!

Sounds extremely similar to the Soap & Glory sunshield superfluid, which is almost half the price, am loving it so far.

  8. I’ve never tried any of the Benefit skincare, even though I adore their makeup. I just always though they would be overpriced…think I am sold now though!

  9. Saw this in your video and already I’m intrigued! Usually the effective sunscreens leave a white cast behind and don’t always work that well with foundations so I’d be curious to see how this performs!

oh wow! This is like the skincare / sunscreen revolution I have been waiting for! Just brought the Alpha H Daily Essential Moisturiser SPF 50, but can already see how serum like and thin this is in formula! Sounds like a dream!

  12. I’ve been searching for something like this for so long! I can see it developing a firm place in my skincare routine.

Agree that many many Asian sunscreens have this kind of texture and yet are effective sunscreens. Check out the Biore Watery sunscreen or just google for recommendations, most are available on Amazon or eBay for far less than this : )

Might have to give this a try, loving your video blogging! Keep up the good work 😉
