Realistically, I don’t think any of these things will reach you by Christmas now, but I’m hoping that you feel deserving of a post-Christmas present for yourselves! There are some great sale bargains to be had already so, here’s a line up of my top picks.

I absolutely swear by this stuff to keep me sane.. a bath isn’t a bath without a generous slug of Aromatherapy Associates. AA was one of the first aromatherapy brands to emerge and it’s still, in my view, absolutely the best. You only need a few drops for each bath or shower so this little lot will keep you in luxury bathing til at least Easter, I reckon! It was £99, it’s now £49.50 HERE

I really like the Coach fragrance, but unless you know the Coach leather brand, I can see why it’s slightly missing the mark. Presentation is great, the scent is a lightly sweet floral – just really pretty. This boxed set is down from £49 to £24.50, HERE

Here’s your chance to stock up on luxy suncare at more or less high street prices. This Dior SPF30 is down from £21.45 to £16.05 HERE

Remember that cheeky little YesforLov kit with the invisible ink pen and a little torch so you can write messages on your body for your dearest to find (we had a lot of laughs thinking of messages like ‘walk the dog, we’ve run out of milk etc), but this could be one Happy New Year if you’re in the mood! It’s down from £24 to £12 HERE

This indulgent Spa Secrets box from Elemis is down from £90 to £50.60 HERE

This is a good opportunity to get a haul of Illamasqua; the Black Christmas set is down from £96 to £76 and contains nine Illamasqua goodies..Pure Pigment in Zeitgeist, Powder Shadow in Obsidian, Eye Brow Cake in Thunder, False Eye Lashes, Sealing Hel, Medium Pencil in Sophie, Sheer Lipgloss in Artifice, Masquara in Raven and Precision Ink in Abyss. I think that’s quite a bargain. Find it HERE

I’m definitely happier now I have seen and tried this newbie from MF that is replacing my beloved Second Skin; it looks very similar in appearance and texturally is pretty much no different. It does run to matte which isn’t a favourite finish of mine so it won’t be replacing Second Skin in my make-up bag (which is now a drawer actually!) but I know there are a lot of matte foundation fans out there who will love it. It isn’t quite that ‘cruel’ matte that sucks the life out of your face, but a gentler, more flattering finish. Find it HERE for £11.99.

I’m a little bit obsessed with Happy Hour from Andrea Fulerton Nail Boutique; a rich chocolate polish with a shimmering gold twist – wear either alone or make a third look by top-coating the gold over brown. It’s £7.99 HERE

The one saving grace of cooler months is that a long steep in a hot bath doesn’t have you fainting with heat – I have far more baths in winter than summer and since I really, really don’t ‘get’ the point of shower gels, baths are my only time to appreciate the surrounding products. I loved using this newbie from NEOM; Tranquility Bath Foam with lavender, sweet basil and jasmine – plenty of fat, soft bubbles presented in an elegant, glass bottle. It’s a proper bath treat. £20 HERE

I love every single one of these L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Le Khol Pencils – I adore a coloured khol and so far, 107 in Deep See Blue and 109 Azure Blue are absolute favourites and great on brown eyes. Find them HERE for £4.38 (that’s Ocado.. weirdly).

  1. I love these posts, I get excited by them haha! I’ll be quite interested in trying the Max Factor foundation out, seems like it’ll be more towards the heavier coverage side of things which I like!
