Boxed gift sets are my favourite thing to give beauty-wise at Christmas and it’s mainly because they’re easy to wrap. I like my presents to look just so and can’t bear angles and awkward shapes! It’s about the only thing that I’m a bit ocd about – they have to look perfect! So, boxed sets are a bit of a gift for an obsessive wrapper as well. This Apicosma introduction set, above, from Melvita, looks as beautiful unwrapped as wrapped and contains a little bee-fuelled body milk, a hand cream and a lip balm all for £15. Find it HERE

I know. It’s not square. But my thinking is that you shove a big fat bow over the DKNY label and that’s it.. wrapped! These are selling out really fast – I’ve had a good look online and these particular apple shaped boxes are getting hard to find. The best price I’ve found for them is £43.20 at John Lewis on a price-match 10% off today. Find it HERE

And finally, this super little shower gel set from L’Occitane – gorgeous box, six mini shower gels to take on holiday or travelling or just to ring the changes; it’s lovely! It’s £26 HERE

Since I’m right in the middle of a complete crush on all things Givenchy, including the new fragrance, Dahlia Noir, I can’t really think of anything nicer than a bath overflowing with prettily scented bubbles. Debenhams.com has some very good deals on right now with money off that should at least cover the cost of postage if you buy on-line. Dalia Noir Bath Gel is £28.50 (Debs: £25.65). Find it HERE

If you weren’t tempted by the Konjac Sponge first time around, the new generation sponges come already implanted with skin care ingredients to target while you clean. This one is for dry and mature skin and is impregnated with French Red Clay. It’s £6.50. Find it HERE

I haven’t tried this, I have to admit, but I quite like the sound of High Tech Cosmetics Instant Lifting Eye Shadow, £25. They say the shadow is infused with illuminating and anti-ageing properties and that the shadow gives a visible lift to the eye area within 15 minutes with firming and up to a milimetre lift on the lid. I know a milimetre is tiny but on the lid, that would be noticable. As I say, it’s untried by me but anyone has tried it, I’d love to know. Find it HERE
