There’s a vortex somewhere in my house where a million lost press releases are swirling around. I don’t quite know how anyone can lose as many as I seem to. What this is leading up to is that I can’t find the Clinique Elixir one. But if you don’t know Clinique Aromatics Elixir, its one of those fragances in quite limited distribution but with a core of die-hard fans. It’s floral and mossy with a patchouli dry down – to me it smells like an old-school fragrance but actually it’s very pretty in its way. I think my mum would love it but my niece would hate it if you see what I mean. This gorgeous, gorgeous black on amber carved necklace, though is definitely something that anyone would love. It’s very elegant, and contains the Elixir in solid form. Now, embarrassingly, I don’t know how much it is, but I’m guessing it’s available for Christmas.
From Biba at House of Fraser comes this chunky lipgloss ring, £15. The lid slides across to reveal a very cute not-quite-raspberry pink gloss. If you don’t think you’ll wear it as a ring, although I don’t see why not, it comes on a chain so you can hang it from your handbag instead as a bag charm.

I’d be prepared to put money down to bet that you won’t have experienced a skin care texture like this before...
