BBB Beauty Box – Where Is It?

Just a quickie to update on the BBB Beauty Box – I’ve had a couple of cross emails, and I don’t blame you – I’m disappointed that not everyone has them yet.

On the day we put the boxes live, PayPal did a major upgrade (they didn’t notify anyone so we had no idea, and nor did anyone else) which meant that information needed to dispatch was delayed – but only very slightly and not all boxes were delayed in any way, in fact very few.

We’ve checked (and treble checked) that the boxes are dispatched and they definitely are – we’re now at the mercy of Royal Mail..

If you don’t have your box, please be assured that it is on its way – I have my fingers crossed for tomorrow. On the confirmation email you will have received when you bought the box, we asked that if you hadn’t had your box by the 11th please let us know because occasionally things happen, but we didn’t actually anticipate that there would be any delay at all.

So, my apologies if you don’t have your box yet – I’m as frustrated as anyone by this but I can’t make magic happen at Royal Mail. Maybe I should offer them a make-over..

    Yes, thanks Jane. I think everyone knows it’s not your fault! Snail Mail is pretty poor sometimes – and it has been disappointing.

    I’ve been ready to pounce on the postman every morning! I didn’t know if other people were getting theirs as I’ve avoided looking as I don’t want to get disappointed so I just thought this was the expected time frame – I hope to goondess you’re not getting any nasty messages as people should, well, understand that you’ve offered us something amazing and there are some aspects of it that you can’t control.

    Looking unlikely I’ll get mine today so tomorrow the postman had better watch out!

    Given that no one appears to have got theirs, it would appear this isn’t actually a mail problem and is much more likely to be a fulfilment issue.

      That seems to be my feeling too Pimlicat, the longer this goes on. I don’t think the Post Office would be sitting on that many parcels in different areas 🙁

        Some have been delivered… we have now tracked ou and I have everything crossed that the rest are delivered today. And.. starting to suspect you might well be right…

            No, it’s definitely not Karen – she does admin, fulfilment is done through a specialist fulfilment company!! We are in constant communication..she spent half of last night going through the delivery numbers and manually checking which is how we know that some have been delivered. It seems it is possible that at fulfilment there may have been a delay we weren’t aware of. I’m being tactful btw!!

      I am getting lots of tweets and responses so it seems the majority have dropped today (some yesterday) – we can’t hurry the mail man sadly although if I could, I honestly, honestly would! It’s really frustrating for those having to wait and also for us to be let down by a service we had every reason to think would be good.

    I am aware that, apparently, Royal Mail in the Midlands are struggling massively on workload, due to one of its distribution centres downsizing and change in its operations. I do hope that mine arrives on Monday.

    You’re really kind.. I totally understand the impatience though because the first one was much quicker and I feel cross about it because it wasn’t the service I wanted to deliver. But thank you for such a supportive comment.. a lot have arrived today so I am stepping down from Code Red stress to Code Amber! Hopefully Code Green and Relax by Saturday!

    But I just checked the photos that comes with the little booklet in the box, and I just realized that the cute Union Jack stocking is missing from my box.

    I am one of your Irish customers and I was just checking if my box was dispatched yet. As it has to go through Parcel Motel I would expect a delay but I wanted to check if the box was dispatched before I contact them. Sorry to hassle you.
