Barry M Nail Polish

This is definitely a split story.

On the one hand, Barry M Textured Nail Polish.

Textured polish – or you might have seen it from other brands called concrete – is not for me – I just hate the finish, although love the colours here.

Although you can’t really see the grittiness of the dried texture here, I’ve painted one of my nails with it and can’t wait to take it off. Horrible. Shades shown are Station Road (yellow) and Kingsland Road.

On the other hand, I couldn’t love these polishes more.. it’s just about my dream colour combination on nails and the finish, while not maybe as outrageously high shine as you might expect from the name is gorgeously glossy.

The shades shown here are Lychee and Green Berry. All polishes are £3.99 each.

  1. I haven’t tried the concrete ones yet but I have a feeling they aren’t for me, I like my nails to be smooth, I love the gelly ones though x

  2. I hate the idea of the textured ones too, though LOVE that soft pink and yellow. I have the Gelly in Papaya (coral), a lovely shade – tempted to get those two as well, gorgeous.

I too an not a fan of the concrete-textured nail paints, I do however love the colour of Kingsland Road, which I why I bought it but it’s such a shame the texture lets it down.
Their new Gelly nail paints are really pretty though! 🙂
