Barry M Chameleon Nail Polish

I love this colour-change nail polish from Barry M; the shade I am trying in the pictures is a metallic lavender shade which I like on its own. The ‘chameleon’ element is that if you use a clear top-coat it will turn the original shade to another colour – in this case a purple shade.

A couple of points to note though, whatever top-coat you use, make sure it has a thin brush.. that way you’ll be able to do more with creating patterns such as stripes – I’ve given a French tip a bit of a go – it isn’t my best work ever, but it does demonstrate what Chameleon can do.

These are £3.99 each in Superdrug stores now, and are just a bit of fun really – I really enjoyed using this.. Chameleon is available in other colours and the two tone effect they create are indicated on the striped lid.

It’ll be interesting to see how it wears. Surely you can’t put a protective topcoat on otherwise you’d ruin your nice pattern.

  3. I have this in Pink. I really enjoyed playing with it, however it didn’t last that long for me as you can’t apply a topcoat. But fun for a night out! Check out my review christinaadores.blogspot.com xx

  4. A great dupe for the Butter London one called… umm… lillipet or something like that?
