[unpaid/sample] I know exactly who this beautifully textured cream will appeal to – anyone who doesn’t like weighty unguents stifling their skin. Over the years, I’ve grown more sensitive to texture – I don’t think I gave two hoots about texture when I first started reviewing products but that was because a) I didn’t know any better and b) there wasn’t much choice. Heavy for night, slightly less heavy for day.

Balance Me Tripeptide Plumping Cloud Cream Review

Cloud Cream is a near-perfect texture for anyone who likes to keep their skin care light feeling but still wants the moisture benefits. I’ve used it for around a week, so not long enough to see any tripeptide effects, but long enough to know that it delivered in spades on moisture, felt comfortable, sat well under make up. It’s a complement to say it’s forgettable because once it’s on the skin, you just don’t think about it again. I’ve tried moisturisers recently that have made my nose shiny or felt oily which I don’t mind at first but I don’t want as an after effect.

I was also sent a little sample size of the Balance Me Tri-Molecular Hyaluronic Serum – also very pleasant, particularly on first application. It has plenty of slip so you can gently massage into the skin and the two products sit very well together. In terms of ingredients for the Cream – ceramides (which I like to see in skin care), Matrixyl Synthe’6 (a natural origin tripeptide that is supposed to work as a ‘filler’ but I didn’t see that effect), Aquaxyl to prevent moisture loss, aloe vera, hyaluronic acid and shea, meadowfoam seed and squalane – the latter two are some of my favourite ingredients to see in anything. You can use it day, night or both and it’s £45 HERE.
