I got off to a good start with Annick Goutal Elixir Splendide Essential Care Active Rose Serum; as soon as I opened the bottle, my senses were delighted with the luxurious scent of rose. After applying a few drops of the clear liquid, which has a consistency a serum should have; it easily soaks into the skin and isn’t sticky once it’s on. It contains argan oil and is enriched with omega-6 fatty acids and antioxidant vitamin E. Annick Goutal Elixir Splendide Essential Care Active Rose Serum is For dry and sensitive skin and is meant to enhance hydration, renew skin cells and reveal a smoother, more radiant complexion. And it indeed did all of this, and wonders for my skin pretty much instantly. My skin is smoother, plumper and has a really amazing glow – like I’ve had the best facial going (and I don’t say this lightly). In fact, I have to keep glancing in the mirror to actually believe the transformation, because the effects last and last. Even hours later my skin looks like I’ve had a professional treatment.
£100 for 30ml is a steep pricetag, however a very good investment. The bottle it comes in feels like there is much more than 30mls. It will defintely last for ages, as you don’t need much for each application, I’m estimating about 3 months. To justify this luxurious skin treat, break it down to just over £30 per month.

Sounds awesome – wish it wasn’t £100 though! Sigh. Does sound a lot better when you spread the cost over a few months, i’m a massive fan of this sort of reasoning!!

The product sounds good, but again, I’m disappointed with the price. It’s all well and good to factor product purchases down to a cost per week/month, if only to justify the outlay to yourself. But you still have to come up with the cash to start with.
The health and beauty industry IS aware there’s a recession in full swing aren’t they? Geez.
