If you’re going to go for a re-package, you better make it a good one, and the new Anna Sui packaging certainly falls into that camp! We’ve been seeing little changes from the brand for a couple of years now in terms of interior packaging, but now the boxes have a whole new look to co-incide with the Anna Sui Tropical Summer collection. In the picture above are the new Ann Sui Lip Color Stains – there are six shades of this oil-feeling stain in a natural flush palette.
In the swatch, bottom to top are: 302 Coral Pink, 600 Tangerine Orange and 300 Orchid Pink. They’re £18. They have great ‘slip’ on the lip – I didn’t like the taste much – feel incredibly lightweight and finish as a demi-matte. I’ve just noticed that ASOS have them for £13 HERE.
There are four new translucent nail shades – above are Sheer Pink and Sun Orange. These fall into that strange camp of being almost no colour but just giving a wash of something on the nail. Personally, I think you need to have pretty perfect nails for this to work because you can and do see the actual nail underneath. However, another way to wear them is over a coat of white to get an intensified, nearly neon effect. Anna Sui polishes are the only ones I know of that include raspberry fruit extract, grapeseed oil and olive oil. These launch any day now for £11.
I think it was my very first trip to New York that I made it my mission to get my hands on the Anna Sui Lipgloss rings – I’d really never seen anything like them before! I still have the first one I ever bought tucked away. The ‘Ring Rouge’ is back in five different shades including shimmering blue pearl, a peachy sparkle and this one, above, in Anna Red. They launch on 1st June for £12 each.
Finally, and already launched, are three coloured mascaras in Iris Purple (above), Pop Pink and Mint Green. They’re £13 each HERE.
