When a simple idea really works, it is such a pleasure! This fibre mitten from Serbia promises to remove make-up without cleanser – literally just with water. And it really does. After I’d used it, I then got a make-up remover and cotton wool pad to test how much the Amaze Mitt had really removed, and it was pretty much everything.
The down-side to this is that water can make your skin feel quite taut and I think it’s a big ask to ditch your cleanser.. it’s ingrained in the psyche to use a cleanser and I’m not sure I could not use it over a long period of time. What Amaze Mitt is handy for is when you are travelling light, overnight or weekend, or to have tucked away in SOS corner for when you’ve run out of cleanser.
