As lifestyle brands go, there’s nothing apologetic about Aerin. It’s got such clear direction and each new arrival ties in to its counterparts. It’s pared back, elegant and suddenly has my interest even though Aerin Lauder is not nearly the celebrity in the UK that she is in the States. We’re starting to see the personality of the brand emerge in a New England meets New York kind of way.
WWD.com reports on the new line up of fragrances scheduled for a November launch (in the US at least) – they’re simple and direct, and without doubt have something of Jo Malone about them. The scents are Gardenia Rattan, Amber Musk, Lilac Path, Ikat Jasmine, and Evening Rose, and each bottle has a polished stone representative of an ingredient in the fragrance on top of the bottle.
