NEOM Happiness Candle Review

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] With the start of the week’s weather being nothing short of dismal, I was very glad to have the NEOM Happiness Candle on the burn while I worked. I know we shouldn’t affix our mood to the weather because if it happened all the time we’d be the most unpredictable, up and down country in the world, but gosh, I did need a bit of motivation on a wet Monday. Actually, I’d say this candle is more for when you’re happy than to make you feel happier.

It’s a beautiful blend of neroli, mimosa and lemon and I think it’s the lemon that cuts through to elevate the florals into a mood fragrance. I can easily see this on the burn on a warm, balmy evening bringing the outdoors inside and flooding your room with uplifting scents.

NEOM Happiness Candle is like the orange juice in your Bucks Fizz – the thing that gives it an extra sweet and tangy shot that slips down ever so nicely (and too easily!). I love heady florals – mimosa is naturally quite sweet and powdery whereas neroli is a fusion of floral and citrus but there are, in fact, between seven and ten essential oils (depending on where you look – Neom says 10, SpaceNK says 7) that create this blend and it’s weird that it’s hard to track down exactly what. Nonetheless, I’d say Happiness is a noticeably warm and welcoming aroma – somewhere in the vicinity of a freshly mown garden on a hot day – something comforting, glorious and just right about it that you’d want to share with friends.
