During a Twitter chat about makeup wipes, one of my blog colleagues described the Setge Lutens Makeup Wipes as ‘angel tears mixed with unicorn kisses ‘ or something very close to that (I can’t find the exact Tweet) which made me screech to a halt and desperate to try them! As we all know, Serge is the best in the world at adding a nought to any beauty products he makes, so I was expecting a frightening price on these individually wrapped eye make up remover wipes, but by Serge standards, they’re a rather reasonable £12 for 50.

Sure enough, they’re easily the most ‘luxury’ and softest wipes I’ve ever used – they glide over the skin on a microfibre rectangle and did remove all my eye make up (I wasn’t wearing waterproof mascara). They’re also half the size of a regular wipe. The key to the luxurious feel is definitely all in the microfibre that the wipes themselves are made from – the ingredient list is nothing particularly exciting (cyclomethicone, mineral oil, squalene, fragrance, water) but certainly did the job.
One for the beauty curious I think – they ARE a step up, but two sizes down :-). You can find the Serge Lutens Makeup Wipes HERE.
