Definitely a happy dance day when something comes along that you know readers will love. Sarah Chapman Skinesis Skin Insurance SPF30 is a lightly tinted base with a very slight ‘blur’ element and protection from UVA, UVB and infrared. I wore it yesterday and have it down as ‘weekend’ makeup when you don’t want to go full on but need a little something. If you like a light base for every day, this will tick all of the boxes. It gave a dewy finish, which I love, a natural look and also a bit of a ‘perfected’ look. Initially, I tried it on one side of my face and there was definitely a difference between the sides, with the Skin Insurance side looking better in terms of visual smoothness than the other.

I love the fact that infrared is put into the protection equation – a lot of bases haven’t caught up with that level of protection yet – and that it’s a lot like my beloved bareMinerals Complexion Rescue in texture and feel on the skin; maybe not quite as weightless, and yet it feels just as silky on the complexion.
The only thing I’m not so keen on is the tube – looks soft? Nope.. bullet hard, like a tube shaped pot. But all in all, I have this down as a great daily wear/weekend wear base that’s doing all the right things for your skin. It’s £44 HERE.

Ha! The only thing you’re not keen on is the tube? There speaks a woman who doesn’t have to pay for her skincare, £44.00? Are you kidding me? Another great looking product goes by… Sigh…
I feature a variety of products at all prices. You’re right that I didn’t pay for this but I’m not excluding products on the grounds that you think it’s too expensive. There are people who may have budget for that and it’s my job to provide information on products across all price points.
I really enjoy reading your articles Jane & this product looks great. Is it a “one shade suits all?”
yes it is.. and thank you!
