REN Christmas 2019

[samples/affiliate] This is the first Christmas collection that I’ve seen where if you like to buy pampering or beauty gifts, you could tick every single gift off in one spot. There really is something for everyone. The packaging is immaculate – bright, bold and beautiful – and there are no weird shapes to contend with when it comes to wrapping. I like a tidy looking gift!

REN Christmas 2019

As you’d expect from this brand that plays its part in responsibility, there’s a charitable donation of £1 from each set that goes to Plastic Patrol who remove plastic from the oceans. Boxes, if you can bear to part with them, are fully recyclable as they’ve used vegetable inks to create the sea life themes (in conjunction with Silken Favours). There is also 20% off two or more sets.

So, starting with the Beauty Sleep Booster Set, £22 in the dolphin and star fish themed box. It contains a & Now To Sleep Pillow Spray 75ml, No1 Purity Cleansing Balm 15ml and V Cense Revitalizing Night Cream. An absolute dream of a collection for anyone who cherishes their sleep. The Mini Body Care Favourites is £19 and contains 4 x 50ml of Rose Otto and Atlantic Kelp in a shower gel and body lotion – I honestly don’t know anyone who wouldn’t like this as you can use them for travel, gym bags or pamper evenings.

REN Christmas 2019

The Face Favourites Collection in a sea shell box is (as it sounds) a collection of REN’s best selling skin care and includes Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask (one of my absolute favourites for using before foundation when you want your skin to look extra glowy) 15ml, Keep Young & Beautiful (I am petitioning them to remove the ‘young’ – what’s wrong with Keep Beautiful?) Beauty Shot 15ml and the Evercalm Global Protection Day Cream 50ml. It’s £35 and like all the REN sets, looks far more expensive than it actually is. In the pelican box (my favourite), you’ll find the Rosa Centifolia Hot Cloth Cleanser and two cloths – it’s £15. This one isn’t actually available on REN at the moment – it’s either a special edition or sold out (I am not surprised at the latter) but I’ve found it at M&S HERE. Actually, it’s £12 at M&S but they don’t (currently) have all the sets so the REN website HERE is still better for variety of choice, especially as you get 4 minis with every order.

REN

My favourite thing! Perfect teacher gift or stocking filler at £12 (although hold on til actual Black Friday because I could only find these in stock at Feel Unique HERE. ) The REN website has a Glow Tonic mini that’s similar if that works as a substitute for you and you want to stay in one place to shop. I just think REN’s entire offering this year looks so expensive, and yet, comparatively, it’s not. I won’t be at all surprised if the whole lot sells out fast leaving everyone wanting more.

Oh fabulous stuff; I’ll snap up a good few of these. I got disenchanted with REN after being a devoted customer for many years, feeling they’d fallen for the craze for over-stripping skin with harsh (for them) potions. That glycolactic mask is the only such product I ever liked, in that regard. A lovely boost. (They discontinued some terrific core serums in favour of rather less upstanding versions, for example.) But god, I have missed REN, in truth. Some of their products are, imo, unbeatable, I’ve never equalled them with the other ‘clean/green’ ranges I use. I’m going back to them with pleasure; thanks so much for a wonderful review.

I’m very happy that you’re considering giving them a second chance… I’m just blown away by the packaging this year.
