Parasola Essence in UV Spray

This is another gift from my lovely Japanese friend (@nicintoyko) and it’s the Parasola Essence in UV Spray SPF50  – this time mixed with essence. If you haven’t got to grips with essence (an extra step in your beauty routine that you dab onto skin after cleansing and before hydrating supposedly to soften your skin and help your moisturiser work better and more effectively) or the new breed of SPF waters, then this isn’t the post for you! But, I find this fascinating. We’re only on the cusp of both the essence and UV water trends in the UK, but already Japan are far ahead of us by mixing both together.

Parasola Essence in UV Spray is a very light mist – water and sweat resistant with hydrators so that your skin won’t feel dry. The great thing about these handy mists is that they can be applied over or under make up and also to your hair or body but it’s not a replacement for your everyday SPF. It’s more of an on-the-go extra protection kind of thing. This one has some perfume in it (powdery floral) and you can get it at Imomoko.com HERE. I’ve used this site on many occasions and it’s completely reliable.

Snap – I own this too! I don’t get as much use out of it as there is a different UV spray which I think makes me slightly less ‘glowy’ and is a smaller size (so more convenient for my small handbags).
I’m looking forward to when they become more readily available in the UK too 🙂

I love the idea of this! I hate the feeling and the white stain suncream leaves on your skin! x

That sunscreen spray sounds great. I’m always on the lookout for a sunscreen that makes me look less greasy.
