Origins Value Sets

[productsamples/affiliate] If I cast back to when I first became aware of Origins it was tied into my awareness that the USA had so many more beauty options than the UK. Origins was one of the brands that really felt properly covetable and ‘American’ and all the more wonderful for it – the packaging, the scents and even the textures were really quite different to anything the UK had to offer. In some ways, it can still transport me to the bright lights of New York with the same wonderment that cinnamon on coffee (which I associate as 100% a USA import!) can. If I’m honest, I think it’s lost a little of its lustre but needlessly so – probably due to the competition that surrounds it – because I find the products excellent.

Origins Value Sets

I’ve somehow picked one of the few sets to show you that doesn’t have a ‘value’ shown but I think at £20 it’s a great set, representing both me-time and relaxation as well as some real skin benefits. I think it skews more favourably to oilier skin types but I’m no stranger to a little Clear Improvement when my normal skin looks a bit lacklustre.

Origins Value Sets

As with many brands at this critical sales time, Origins is offering some decent deals – free gift wrap, a five piece set free with orders over £45 and savings of up to £33 on bath and body. My favourite Origins product ever (bar their retinol cream which I trialled and loved earlier this year) was Gloom Away with its wonderful grapefruity, zesty scent – and it’s disappeared from the UK. What?!!! Head HERE for Origins. Non affiliate HERE.

Gloomaway was gorgeous! I don’t know why Origins never registers with me, though I’m all about botanical skincare. Maybe it’s just so damn multifarious: too much choice! One product I did buy was the yellow, citrussy cleansing oil (which, come to think of it, I’d really love to buy again, it is divine and really excellent. Maybe this afternoon!) While I’m at it, I’ll look into a little gift set such as this one: thanks so much for the review
