If I whizz back to 2015 I was raving about the Su:m37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick from Korea. I thought cleansing sticks would become a trend – they’re instantly handy for travel, gym bags and keeping in the shower and this new one from Origins has a unisex aspect so I know that I’m going to be fighting my son for it! I’m really surprised that this is the first (I think) since the Su:m37 that I’ve seen.
To use it, you just gently smooth the balmy feeling stick over your face, add a bit of water to create a light emulsion lather and there you are… an emulsion cleanse from a stick. The exfoliation aspect is nominal – while it does contain ‘bits’ of white and purple rice I couldn’t feel any discernible exfoliating going on (perhaps there is more further into the stick). However, it did leave my skin very soft, nicely cleansed and with a comfortable, flexible feeling. It will remove make up (not waterproof mascara) but I’d recommend this most as a morning shower face cleanser for men and women as well as all skin types – I love it. It’s £25 HERE.
