Mustaev Sheet Masks

The new Mustaev Sheet Masks made me smile this morning when I opened them up. Made in Korea, I’m not sure if things have got a bit lost in translation, but goodness… a Sadness Mask has to be a first! Described: To give lively skin from depressing and difficulty – if ONLY!! And don’t even start me on the Pleasure Mask! (I’ll take 10) I love what Mustaev has done here, translation issues aside – each mask has a specific purpose.

Pleasure is to restore late night party skin, Joy is to protect skin from outdoor activities and Anger is to cool the skin ‘from excessive heat red line from stress’, which I will take to mean treating redness. I love that they’ve tied in skin concerns with emotions in this Mood Therapy range and better yet they’re made with Sodium Hyaluronate (smaller molecule size than Hyaluronic Acid) as well as ingredients such as coconut oil, vitamin C and Niacinamide depending upon which mask you use. The ingredients are set in a ‘water jelly’ so yes, they’re a bit slimey, and speaking of, Anger contains ‘snail mucus’ which you might want to avoid.

This is the ingredient list from the Pleasure Mask. The Mustaev Sheet Masks will be available HERE from the end of August, when, depending upon whether we get any summer at all, any one of the four emotions might need addressing!

This is so cute. I think they were going for a play-on of words with the English translation, and it kind of makes sense and doesn’t at the same time because the words aren’t used correctly. Lol. I like the ingredients and artwork, so I’ll probably check them out.

  3. The Cooling Anger Mask was definitely made for me, snail mucus and all.
