Murad Multi-Vitamin Infusion Oil

As you can imagine, I get sent a lot of skin care – I can’t review everything never mind test it to any great degree so I’d rather be completely open and say that this is top-line tested only. There are parts of the Murad range that I don’t get along with but their ‘treatment’ ranges tend to be very effective with a lot of repeat purchasers which tells a story of its own. If you straw-polled a collective of dermatologists and asked them what vitamins skin really needs, mostly they’d cite Vitamin C as the key, followed by A. But, I bet you didn’t know that Vitamin F is our good friend linoleic acid, aka omega 6 essential fatty acid, which is great for skin!

In addition to Vitamin F, the oil also contains A, B, C, D and E – all with particular roles to play in skin maintenance. A is firming and radiance giving, B is oil balancing and hydrating, C is brightening and antioxidant, D helps to strengthen the skin barrier, E is smoothing and softening .. and F, well, we’ve discussed F. There are little tricks with this oil, which is a thinner oil than you might expect, that you can use such as adding to blush or bronzing powder to turn it into a creme formula (use only a tiny, tiny amount) or add a couple of drops to your regular moisturiser as a booster. It’s not the kind of oil, texturally, that smothers your skin so it’s easily used under your regular products as an extra or of course, you can use it on its own. My foundation, by the way, went on like a dream over this and I don’t know why I didn’t think just to add a drop to the base in the first place.

Anyway, on top-line testing only, I enjoyed using this oil – I’m going to keep it by my make up to add into foundation because I like the idea of that a lot. It’s £55 HERE.
