So. On the one hand, this is a gorgeously soft mousse from Medik8 that feels delicious on the skin and leaves it feeling super-clean. But, I have to be a bit nit-picky here because, despite the fact it does a great skin cleanse, it’s rinse off. The joy of a micellar is that the oil droplets (micelles) do the cleansing job with a cotton pad and there’s no water involved. For the lazy cleanser like me who doesn’t think twice about cleansing with a micellar and cotton pad while watching Strictly every now and again, making it rinse-off renders it pointless as a micellar. The funny thing is, they’ve even got ‘no cotton pad required’ as a sell on the back!
As a general mousse cleanser, it’s exceptionally creamy and your skin won’t feel in the least stretched or dry after use (thanks to olive oil and moringa). They say it’s suitable for sensitive skin – but then they also suggest that women (no mention of men) saved 1.5 minutes cleansing with this mousse compared to their regular cleanser. The marketing department needs to calm the heck down. Otherwise, as moussy cleansers go, it’s top of the class. It’s £23 HERE.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but micelle is a technology? As in, micellar does not equate to micellar water by itself?
You’re correct but I think our general understanding of micellar is that it’s not wash off – perhaps because we were introduced to micellar water before any other type.
A whole 1.5 minutes. Whatever shall I do with all that time?:)
