Made For Life Daily Face Oil

[unpaid/sample] I put this on my face as soon as I opened the package it came in and knew I’d love it. I called it in because of the pink bottle which signifies a big trend in wellness and beauty – those brown bottles, if formulas can be stabilised, will be a thing of the past when it comes to attracting the attention of people seeking natural products that look vibrant and exciting.

Made For Life Daily Face Oil

I mean, this just glows with promise! I remember the older iteration of Made For Life – Spiezia Organics – which was a front-runner at the time when organic skin care was beginning to attract attention. The oil itself is very light but immediately silkening on the skin. It blends in like a dream although despite the lovely ingredients (forthcoming) smells rather earthy which I think stems from the wheatgerm oil. The blend contains essential oils so its not for you if you have sensitivities to them.

Daily Face Oil

The beauty of this blend is that it’s something of an everything-oil. It’s light enough that you can use under your base, blend with your moisturiser or use on its own morning and/or night. It gives instant skin flexibility without feeling heavy or greasy in a way that makes you want to touch your skin because it feels so soft. If natural and organic is the way forward for you, this Cornwall based brand is one to look at. Main ingredients are Jojoba Seed Oil, Wheat Germ Oil, Rose Damascena Flower Oil, Rose Damascena Flower Extract and Vanilla Bean Extract. It’s a very simple, effective formula which also taps into doing more with less. I requested a tiny bottle (£12) which feels worth every penny as a mixer to have on hand, but you might want to upsize if you want to use it as your daily hydration. Find it HERE.

Oh lovely! Sooo enticing. I am in and loving facial oils to combat the effects of a toasty warm house with radiators on high.
I saw you were asking on Twitter about low growing flowering plants. Try a rock rose (Helianthemum) or cistus and get a single flower type. Bees love them and the flowers last only a day but you get a loooot of flowers Also a mini geranium is fun (erodium). Happy Thursday xx

Absolutely bizarrely Chrissie, I have just put a Helianthum in my Sarah Raven basket! I have tons of geranium varieties because you can’t beat them for
riots of colour … I pulled out an old plant that wasn’t doing anything so now have a gap for a new one.

Oooh great stuff Jane :-D. I love rock roses as they are a riot of colour: deep pinky reds and oranges, yellow and softer pinks. I have had the Ben Ledi and Ben Mohr. Plus once established they just grow and grow. Happy planting and growing! xx
