[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] People with sensitive skin or who can’t tolerate any fragrance in their facial care don’t have nearly as many options as the rest of us when it comes to either being gifted or buying for themselves. There’s a tendency for sensitive skin care to look a bit medical or bland when it comes to packaging so this set from Green People stands out as looking every bit as impressive and stylish as non-sensitive products can.
Even better (because tbh, the actual contents are a bit ‘bland’), the boxes are wrapped in zebra tissue which was an extra touch I wasn’t expecting. I’ve had to Google the ingredient Baicalin as I haven’t come across it before but now I know it’s an anti-inflammation compound taken from a Chinese herbs (Scutellaria) that has shown promise in treating psoriasis. In this formula, you would think of it more as a photodamage inhibitor.
The serum and moisturiser combined are perfect for antioxidant hydration. I’m surprised to see that Green People are still using the term ‘turn back the clock’ – it’s a bit like a 1980’s magazine when it comes to the brand’s product descriptions! Anyway, the set is HERE for £28.
Green People have got lots of sets across the price spectrum – it’s not a brand I look at very often but these really are lovely if you want to go down the organic route. This is the Organic Heritage Beauty Trio which highlights their best selling skin care and original products.
Inside, you’ll find Vita Min Fix 24-Hour Cream 50ml, Fruitful Nights Night Cream 50ml and Gentle Cleanse & Make-Up Remover 50ml. I like their choice of ingredients although please define ‘tired’ skin. Copywriter urgently required :-), and I also like the plant design on the front and the fact that it’s carried through from the box to the bottle. It’s £59 HERE (at the time of writing) which seems on the pricy side to me but this brand has a huge fan base and was one of the originators in making organic skin care mainstream well before sustainable sourcing, vegan and cruelty free were common.
