[unpaid/sample/ad/affiliate] If you like your skin care luxy take a look at the new Givenchy Ressource collection of three products. I’ve had these for a while but have only just got around to writing it up. What I very much like about the Velvet Moisturising Cream is that it’s indicated for oilier skin types which is more rare than products for dry skin. It’s labelled anti-stress on the grounds that skin is directly impacted by stress levels – which I think is true. Whether there is any real topical antidote to the skin of a stressed person is another thing – because the thing to properly help it, surely, is to get rid of the stress!

There is another Anti-Stress Cream for dry skin by the way, but the Velvet version, which I have is better for shine. It is indeed a beautifully luxurious cream – cool to the touch and immediately refreshing and hydrating. There’s a 72 hour moisturisation promise – it is very hydrating but I didn’t test for 72 hours straight. I found it nicely plumping without being weighty.

97% of ingredients are of natural origin and a key player is Beauty Moss Complex (which instantly made me think of Kate Moss but sadly, it’s just moss the plant, not Moss the Kate) which apparently helps with moisture retention, along with Everlasting Flower. This is otherwise known as Helichrysum and has some remarkable skin care abilities – antibacterial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory amongst them. It’s also nourishing and healing. The cream has a scent which reminds me of fresh, clean sheets.

The Fortifying Moisturising Concentrate is a serum with a dash of passion fruit extract – presumably for a mild exfoliation effect and is a more concentrated version of the moss extracts. It’s a milky texture and sits comfortably on the skin. The bottom line is that I feel you will find it a luxury product – it’s got all the right elements such as extra nice textures and streamlined, weighty jars making it a joy to use and producing plumped and smoother looking skin. Whether it makes inroads into skin that belongs to someone who is stressed is another matter. I’ve found it on offer HERE with 10% off making it £52.20 instead of £58, and the Concentrate is the same price. Non affiliate HERE.

his creamy gel, with a subtle and relaxing scent, is quickly absorbed by the skin for refreshing, intensive and lasting 72-hour* moisturization. The evanescent texture is perfectly suitable for shine-prone skin. The skin seems soothed, plumped and balanced. Visibly released from stress, it radiates with a natural g
