Fresh Soy Face Cleanser 20 Years

[productsample/affiliatelink] It’s hard to believe that Fresh Soy Face Cleanser is 20 years old!

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser 20 Years

Fresh Soy cleanser arrived at a time when cleansing wasn’t a ‘thing’ – I mean, yes there were loads of cleansers but skin cleansing and make-up removal was more functional than essential and sat in the same chore category as washing up – ideal to do it every day but if you miss one, what the heck. It’s only that we are more educated on how to look after our skin now that cleansers are such a huge part of our beauty routine.

I don’t remember another soy based cleanser, but I do remember just how fresh and delicious using this on my skin was (and still is). It has a cucumber fragrance and a light gel-creme texture that was very different to the cleansing lotions around at the time and of course, whisked off make up (including mascara) as well as leaving skin feeling softened and thoroughly clean. We’ve got used to the idea of cleansers being sensory pleasures and I’d argue that cleansing is the most pleasurable part of a beauty routine now with the possible exception of masks so personally I don’t feel bad about making a spend on it. This edition for their 20th year is £32 and available in June, but if you don’t want to wait or you’d rather try a smaller size (50ml) before you go large, you can find Fresh Soy cleanser from John Lewish £11.50 HERE. I also got send a tantalizing teaser about a new strawberry based product – I’ve peeped on the US site and if you’ve got oily skin, you’re going to be happy!
