Ark Skin Care Plumping Lip Cream

[sample/affiliate] I’m a daily balm user because without it my lips dry out regardless of season or weather. I’ve also been ‘blessed’ with very creased lips and that’s always been the case throughout my life. I’ve no idea why but I do know that balms are hugely helpful.

Ark Skin Care Plumping Lip Cream

I’m prepared to put a bit more effort into lip care because I can see that my lips respond well, and Ark’s Plumping Cream is more of an extra level hydration and smoothing system than plumping specifically. I haven’t so far seen any particular plumping but obviously, the less dry your lips, the more fulsome they’ll look. The formula is based around peptides and botanical lipids with Allantoin to take it further than your average barrier cream although in texture it feels more like an eye cream because it’s very light. You only need a tiny dot of it (too much and you’ll be eating it) so a little goes a very long way. If you’re like me with problem lips, you’ll probably see the benefit of this cruelty free cream used in addition to a daily barrier balm (which I also like the feel and glossy look of) and I’d happily use it as an under lipstick base if you find that lipsticks dry out your lips. It’s more expensive, at £32, than I was expecting it to be but Look Fantastic has 20% off HERE. Non affiliate HERE.

this sounds great! how does it compare to the fresh suagr lip serum do you think?

It’s different – sugar lip serum is much lighter and in my view doesn’t stay as long on the lips.

Brilliant, thanks for letting me know- I much prefer the sound of the ark one in that case and will give it a go!

On a similar lip related note, I’d love to know if you have tried/ would consider trying in the apoth and co lip care line. I’ve heard whisperings it is great stuff, but the price is more dear than the lanolips you got me hooked on so would really value your thoughts! <3

My default luxury balm is always Sisley abd I wince every time I buy it. I don’t know Apoth & Co at all… sorry I can’t help. I still think Lanolips is my all time favourite mid range balm x
