B. Sparkling Water Cleanser

B. Clean Sparkling Water Cleanser

Another double-cleanse-in-one product on its way for August from Superdrug’s own range, B. As predicted, texture is a huge trend across the beauty board at the moment and this one is a gel that turns to a water on your skin.

B. Clean Sparkling Water Cleanser

It’s an interesting sensation as you realise that this jelly does actually somehow start to feel like a micellar as you massage it around your skin. I’d say that it gives a very clean feel as opposed to something like a balm or lotion that leaves softening residue so you need to feel happy with that ‘squeaky clean’ sensation. However, it doesn’t feel harsh and stripping. Interestingly, although its billed as a ‘double cleanse’, you do have to take your make up off first which is rather contradictory.

B. Clean Sparkling Water Cleanser

Although this is recommended for all skin types, I think I would say that it’s not the best option for very dry skin. There’s something quite masculine and post-sport about it because it is cooling and refreshing on the skin and although the product is called Sparkling Water Cleanser, I think the idea that it’s ‘lightly bubbly’ is more wish than reality.

As with all B. products, it’s 100% vegan and good value at £6.99 if you enjoy a wash off cleanse.

I like the B range! Looking forward to the new makeup products very much. The skin creams I have tried so far have performed way above their price points. Hope you are feeling better Jane xx

I don’t understand the ‘double cleanse in one’ stuff. All of them sound more like ‘double texture in one’ than cleanse, which surely is just new marketing speak for ’emulsify’?
