I’m a big fan of Mavala for their small sizes. The nail category in beauty is vastly over-saturated and, well, let’s face it – we’ve probably all got enough nail varnish to paint the Forth Bridge twice over. I prefer to buy polish in smaller sizes where possible because at least there is a chance that I might use one up – I’m sure that there must be some statistics somewhere that says people have enough unused nail polish to flood 12 football pitches or something! The Mavala First Class Collection is just a happy collection of colours that all easy wears for summer and named for destinations. Rather than take long holidays, me and Mr BBB tend to do a few long weekend breaks, invariably with hand luggage only (I’d rather have less outfit options than wait at the carousel of hell) so even though a smaller size polish only shaves off milimeters of space in the tiny allowance bag, it’s still worth having and means I can deal with any chips. It’s that or no polish.

So shades from top of the wheel to the bottom are: Spitzberg, Tahiti, Fiji, Cape Town, Long Island and Cortina. Cortina is a beautiful grey-violet but Fiji or Cape Town can get on my nails right now!
The Mavala First Class Collection is HERE and polishes (5ml) are £4.95 each. Some are listing out of stock but Cortina is still there!

I Aldo love Mavala polishes – just enough to use before you get bored or they get gloopy. Oh and love the look of Cortina here.
Lovely collection of colours. Mavala polishes are great quality and one of their hot oranges (tries to remember the name .. Waikiki / Honolulu??) is just perfect for jolly summer toes. I highly recommend their chunky eye pencils too. Thanks Jane xx
These are really lovely! I’m also a fan of the smaller size – I think in my entire life I have used up one full nail polish bottle!!

These polishes look great! I’ve never heard of the brand before, so happy to learn about them especially for the smaller bottles.
