Actually true. Nail polish that’s flavoured with KFC spices. And it is genuinely edible.
I really thought this had to be a joke but it’s not – it’s part of a KFC campaign in Hong Kong to promote the flavours and you can pick Hot & Spicy or Original, with the orange shade being Hot & Spicy and the nude colour, Original.
At this stage, KFC are running a social media campaign to get votes for which one to put into mass production – my vote is for neither, but I’ve never had a KFC so that’s not helpful! Taking the bigger picture this could really pave the way for all sorts of beauty brands to start bringing out edible nail polishes to co-incide with foodie themed launches – I definitely want to know what lime, basil and mandarin tastes like!
