Essence Jelly Nail Polish Remover

[unpaid/ad/sample] I’m sticking to the hand and nail theme today and I’ve loved using the Essence Jelly Nail Polish Remover with it’s strange gin-meets-pineapple-meets-paintstripper scent!

Essence Jelly Nail Polish Remover

I’m flagging it especially because of the jelly format – it works exactly the same as a regular remover but is rather thicker and as someone who has tipped over their nail polish remover more times than I care to mention, this gel formulation gives you those vital extra seconds to right it before disaster strikes. It’s especially handy if you’re a spiller like me and perhaps if your fine motor skills aren’t the best it’s just much easier to deal with without spill risk. There is a background of pineapple to this but if you’re expecting a remover that smells like a pina colada, I think you’d be disappointed – although after the blast of alcohol that little exotic drift is rather lovely. It’s cheap as chips at £2.47 at PerfumeDreams HERE but need to warn you I’ve never used that site myself before.

Another good alternative is to invest in one of these salon dispenser bottles, £4.99 HERE, that has a closed top which needs to be pushed down to release any liquid. I have one and it’s one of my most useful beauty accessories.

  1. What a wierd concept of it being in a jelly formula, i’ve if I am being honest but I am slightly disappointed it doesn’t smell like pineapples or pina colada! The worst part about nail polish by far is the smell!

Well, it does, but it’s well behind the initial polish smell!

Primark has these dispenser bottles for 80p. I have micellar water in mine and it works like a dream.

Looks like it could be good for dissolving through glitter polish

  4. Ooo jelly?! How strange!
