[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Creme Abricot is already an iconic product, created in 1963 (it’s older than me which isn’t something I can say often about beauty products!) to nourish and strengthen weak nails. For 2022, it’s got a new colour that fits right in with the winter make up collection (coming up tomorrow). Creme Abricot is dressed in a brick red shade – exactly the colour that my Virginia Creeper is turning right now.

Dior Creme Abricot Limited Edition

If you’ve never used Creme Abricot before, you need the tiniest dot of it to work around cuticles and over nails. It’s lanolin, mineral oil and beeswax based so as well as getting nourishment, you’re also getting a barrier effect to stop your nails dehydrating. I’ve been using the Chanel nail serum which has shown some improvement but Creme Abricot is the next course of action because my poor nails are so dry.

Dior Creme Abricot Limited Edition

I’m not sure how much the formula has changed over the years but there’s a knock knock of recognition from my grandma’s bathroom – it would not have been Dior but something very similar in a near identical pot. The scent is powdery/floral and very light – if you sleep with your hands near your face it’s something to take into account. The price is £26 but I’ve found in on Escentual for £22.10 HERE. If you need to top up to qualify for free postage and you’ve got your present list to tick off, there’s a very nice Kiehls Hydrating Gift Set for £27.50 instead of £32 HERE.
