Anna Sui Iridescent Nail Colour
I’ve taken these pictures on the darkest of days – literally the rain is torrential, so they’re a bit darker than I’d like them to be. But, meet the new Anna Sui Iridescent Nail Colour – gorgeous bells of colour that makes nails shimmer different shades in different lights.
The shades I have to show you are Metal Blue, Sea Green and Copper Brown. At one coat they look a bit weak and thin, but the second coat soon ramps things up into something much more exciting. There are six shades heading our way – the other three are Mysterious Violet, Champagne Beige and Burnt Orange.
Also coming along (in September – ASOS) are these metal nail foils – the whispiest pieces of beaten metal you can imagine. I know that when a nail artist gets her or his hands on a pot of this, there will be a feast for the eyes – when I tried… well, I can’t even show you the results! I’d definitely look at some nail tutorials before trying this, but if you get it right, it can be all things spectacular. There’s a tutorial HERE that’s quite good but you’ll need to fast forward if you don’t want to see every single nail being done – you can get the idea from the first and then whizz to the end for the overall effect. In essence, the Anna Sui foils need to be broken down a bit more than they are in the pot not to look clunky.
Anyway, there’s lots of Anna Sui newness heading our way so I’ll be blogging through the items this week, if nails don’t take your fancy. Anna Sui colours are £11 each and hit ASOS in September.
