Winky Lux Tinted Veil

If you love fancy packaging, look no further than Winky Lux who have stepped it up hugely to deliver easy on the eye products that you want to touch and hold. These white tea infused veils have already launched in the US but not yet the UK – keep an eye out at beautymart.com HERE – because they’re well worth the wait.

The formula is a tinted moisturiser, but unlike most tinted moisturisers this one doesn’t give an oily look. There’s an initial sheen but that doesn’t last and it settles into just looking like nicely moisturised skin with a hint of colour. Actually, I do need to say that while the tint looks quite highly pigmented, in use, it’s not – it’s a very fine veil of colour so a good option for those that like a natural skin look with just a hint of something. Pomegranate extracts, Vitamin E and Vitamin A, as well as the antioxidant white tea extracts and an SPF30 add up to a lovely, summery base. The blurb suggests that it’s calming – I didn’t find it so but possibly because the need wasn’t there.

My shade is Medium (there are only three shades) which is the bottom, with Deep up top. There is also a Light.
