[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] As yet, I haven’t seen a single thing from Westman Atelier that isn’t of the very highest quality. The new (ish) Westman Atelier Super Loaded Tinted Highlighter is not called ‘super loaded’ for nothing. It’s a starburst of miniscule shimmers that catch the light at every turn. Today isn’t the best day to capture it because there is such low light – it needs a bit of summer to make it sing.
There’s a little visual trickery here because on opening, you could be mistaken for thinking that this is a powder. However, one stroke of a brush or finger will put you on the right track and reveal the creme formula. The texture is buttery and silky at the same time and the colour is a dusky pink.
You can use this wherever you want really – but it’s £69 so you might want to save it for eyes and cheeks only. One of my first thoughts was that it would look so pretty over sun-kissed shoulders and when I win the lottery I’ll use it exactly for that! Until then, I like it as an eye highlighter just dabbed on bare lids – I still don’t know quite how I feel about major highlight on cheeks any more – I think I prefer lo-fi on my face. The formula itself contains hyaluronic so it’s perfect for complexions but I’m not ready!
I’ve taken a rotten picture below in the light box which is too small to get an arm in but I’ll put it up anyway so you can see (a bit) what it’s like in non-natural-grey-light.
I get a lot of questions about Westman Atelier products – they are super luxury and the prices reflect that but perhaps worth the spend for a brand that gets it right every time (so far). The packaging is exceptional on this – a proper, weighty compact that comes in its own nude-pink pouch so the result is very much a premium feel. You can find it HERE, non-affiliate HERE.
