Urban Decay Naked Skin One and Done

I was sent this a little while ago, but it’s gradually crept into my daily make up routine and I’m glad I waited to review it rather than rushing out a post. I’m using the ‘light’ shade and making do, but ideally I think for my skin tone I would be medium, so when I replace it, I’ll step up the colour, especially as we’re heading into spring/summer.

Bearing in mind that Urban Decay Naked Skin One and Done is a ‘blur’ product, it’s definitely next generation formula and texture because you can banish any thoughts of those rather odd feeling greasy-not-greasy textures from your head. It feels more like a regular skin cream with only a hint of ‘blur’ and yet it does give a ‘blur’ effect on the complexion. There is no doubt that skin looks more ‘perfected’ with it than without. It’s really difficult to say how long this effect actually lasts – I think you forget from one hour to the next precisely how your skin looked to start with and I certainly didn’t get an all day effect with it. But, it’s so much more comfortable in the wear than previous blur creams, if I was doing a natural skin look with no foundation over the top, I’d be fine with a top up.

As a ‘needing skin to look extra nice for an evening out’, it’s perfect. The fact that it’s got SPF20 seals the deal! It’s much more pricy than many blurs, but it’s one of the few occasions that I think it’s well worth upscaling for. It’s HERE.
